Divisions

This division is responsible for providing all uniformed services of the Windham County Sheriff's Office.


The Transport Division is responsible for providing transport services of persons in custody of the State of Vermont. The movement of these persons is performed by the Windham County Sheriff's Office where legally mandated, or when the use of our staff is necessary to keep a person safe from harming themselves, or others.


This division is responsible for providing the service of civil process in Windham County, which often includes orders from the Vermont Superior Court: Civil Division. Additionally, the Civil Division is responsible for the county-wide fingerprinting station, which allows for the collection of fingerprints for professional purposes, adoptions, and other non-criminal related needs.


This division is responsible for providing all administrative services for the Windham County Sheriff's Office. Those services include the financial administration, contract administration, grant management, personnel management, and acquisitions for the Windham County Sheriff's Office.


The Windham County Regional Emergency Communications Center, staffed by trained Emergency Communication Dispatchers, is responsible for handling the the day to day activities that keep the Windham County Sheriff's Office running smoothly.
